Fred G. Neuman was an author and columnist from Paducah, Kentucky. He was born in Paducah on December 22, 1893. He attended local public schools and served in the United States Army during the First World War. Following the war, he began writing and contributed historical and literary articles to newspapers and magazines. Neuman is the author of The Story of Paducah, Paducahans in History and two biographies on Irvin S. Cobb. Cobb called Neuman "Paducah's most useful citizen". He died in 1953 ...
